My Journey Inward<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Yoga became a part of my travels into the self long before it was a trend. Growing up in Argentina within a large, diverse family, I was guided by amazing siblings and childhood memories that taught me how to approach life with an open heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After graduating with a degree in Communications, my travels across Argentina shifted my focus from existential books and political chaos toward a direct, natural touch with life. Everything began to connect magically: the cultures, the landscapes, the roads, and the “pueblos originarios”\u2014mankind in action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While living in the Iguazu Falls rainforest, I learned from local ranchers about ecosystems and the universal law of preserving nature for all living creatures. This shifted my career into documentary filmmaking. I co-founded “Garbo,” an independent company where I wrote and filmed Zona Franca<\/em>, a TV program dedicated to global ecology, peace, and the “strange biodiversity” of mankind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eventually, work as a camera operator and editor for Spanish TV in South America led me to seek deeper answers through simple living and spirituality. I found Raja Yoga and Vedanta philosophy\u2014ancient scriptures that transformed my life. They taught me that human nature is divine and that we can transcend the limitations of self-identity. I began to see the “being” as an integral awareness of body, mind, and spirit\u2014a secret dimension where there is no separateness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My physical practice began in Buenos Aires with a single book. When I learned the concept of Ahimsa<\/em> (non-violence), I embraced vegetarianism, realizing that awareness isn’t just about what<\/em> we eat, but how<\/em> we interact with the life force around us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the mid-90s, I moved to San Francisco\u2014the land of freedom and fog\u2014and immersed myself in the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre. In 1995, I traveled to their ashram in the Bahamas for Teacher Training, eventually staying for a year as staff and a teacher. It was the greatest challenge of my life to that point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From there, yoga and travel became my life. I led practices across Europe, Central America, and the United States, eventually running a studio in Antigua, Guatemala, where I had the beautiful experience of sharing yoga with the local Maya people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2000, I returned to Buenos Aires, where my son Ian took his first breath…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A New Breath: From Motherhood to the Ocean<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In 2000, back in Buenos Aires, my life found a deeper significance when my son, Ian, took his first breath in this world. Balancing motherhood with my devotion to yoga, I continued to lead my goal of sharing the practice as an inspirational force, traveling throughout Europe, the United States, and South America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eventually, the path led me to Miami Beach<\/u><\/strong>, which I now call home. Though I am a city dweller by address, I often feel as if I\u2019ve spent my entire life facing the ocean. Here, I am still moving into the stillness of the blue\u2014an exploration of the unknown that keeps me grounded and inspired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My work evolved into the “Yoga for Health”<\/strong> series, a collection of programs designed to bring the healing power of Hatha Yoga into people’s homes. These series, which even reached audiences through platforms like Netflix and Amazon, focus on addressing specific conditions like anxiety, headaches, and wellness for the whole self.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2023, my journey took a new tactile turn as I submerged myself into the world of sculpture<\/strong>. As an “animalier” sculptor, I work with clay to shape the life I see around my imagination. This new passion isn’t a departure from yoga; it is an extension of it. Whether I am guiding a student through a mindful breath or softening the clay of a new piece, I am practicing the same art: the art of seeing clearly, honoring our limitations, and uncovering the divine nature within us all<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El yoga se ha convertido en el nucleo de mis viajes hacia “El SER”. Nacida en Argentina en una \u00e9poca lejana a la tendencia flower power<\/em>, crec\u00ed en una familia grande y diversa que me ense\u00f1\u00f3 a abrazar la vida, rodeada de hermanos incre\u00edbles y hermosos recuerdos. Mientras recorr\u00eda Latinoam\u00e9rica en mis tiempos libres, me gradu\u00e9 como Licenciada en Comunicaci\u00f3n. Ese camino me llev\u00f3 de los libros existencialistas, el caos pol\u00edtico y el surrealismo, directamente al toque de la vida natural y la esencia humana. Todo se conect\u00f3 m\u00e1gicamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Culturas, paisajes, carreteras y pueblos originarios… \u00a1la humanidad en acci\u00f3n! Empec\u00e9 a entender el mundo maravilloso en que vivimos. Durante una estancia de meses en las Cataratas del Iguaz\u00fa, los guardaparques me ense\u00f1aron sobre ecosistemas y la necesidad de preservar la naturaleza conforme a la ley universal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Orient\u00e9 mis habilidades comunicativas hacia el formato documental y fund\u00e9 “Garbo”, una productora audiovisual independiente. Apasionada por la biodiversidad y las personas, produjimos “Zona Franca”, un programa de TV sobre ecolog\u00eda, paz y humanidad. M\u00e1s tarde, me mud\u00e9 a Buenos Aires para trabajar en la corresponsal\u00eda de Televisi\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola en Am\u00e9rica del Sur, donde me capacit\u00e9 como c\u00e1mara y editora. Sin embargo, buscaba respuestas m\u00e1s profundas basadas en la vida sencilla y la espiritualidad. As\u00ed encontr\u00e9 el Raja Yoga y la filosof\u00eda Vedanta a trav\u00e9s de Yogi Ramacharaka, un concepto inspirador que transform\u00f3 mi vida, ense\u00f1\u00e1ndome que la naturaleza humana es divina.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
